A business uses a SWOT analysis to help look at if the business could take greater advantages of their opportunities and therefore make more profit. A new business may also make a SWOT analysis to see if their business idea would be viable, they can do this by looking at the threats and weaknesses of their business ideas and to see how they could overcome or avoid these issues.
