18th October 2019- ArtyFakes
ArtyFakes make props and costumes for cosplays and events, they demonstrated how they make a sword and what goes in to each costume, as well as how they have grown as a business. They now travel all over the world selling their items which they handmake.
21st November 2019- Jonnie Bayfield
Jonnie Bayfield spoke to us about how to create a story and got us to create some stories using inspiration from around college.
29th January 2020- ScooterPac
Scooterpac is a business from Oulton Broad that make personalised mobility scooters. They were looking for people to market for them and make videos and do social media.
11th February 2020- Mark Finbow
During this talk we learned how to create a story and how to make it different and stand out. He also taught us how to perform for an interview and how to remain calm so that we look our best and most confident.
13th-14th February 2020- London Trip
We went on an overnight trip to London, we started off in the 'Bond in motion exhibition' where we got to see a lot of the story boards and cars that were used in the film. We then went for a walk around Covent Garden before heading back to the hotel to drop off our bags. We then went and had something to eat before going to watch 'a streetcar named desire'. The next day we went to the Warner Brother studios to see where Harry Potter was filmed and watched some talks about who created the props like the wands and how they were made.
26th February 2020- Benjamin Foundation
The Benjamin Foundation come to us asking if we could help in making a film about what they do and the people that they have helped.
27th February 2020- IntoFilm festival
During this talk we got to watch archive videos from Great Yarmouth and what it was like. We also got to watch schools interpretations of the videos and how they recreated them.
